My thoughts on the first episode of Nino's drama..

Its been 10 years since Nino's last TBS drama (Ryusei no Kizuna) comes Black Pean yet another Arashi member to play the role of a doctor. Tbh I'm not much of a fan when it comes to 'medical' kind of dramas. *fears of blood   But I also watch code blue :P Well typical Arashi fan obviously watch it because of an Arashi member is in it yet a lead role. 

It all started everyone (like in a conference room) wanting to see a heart surgery (on projector screen) performed by a doctor that has a certain skill which is said to be the only one in the world (or something like that XD) its like they do the surgery thing and the last tool they use is the black pean so the 'black pean' symbolizes that a surgery has gone well.. -as they thought it did. A sudden change to the situation as something wrong occurred. That's where Nino comes in.. -here's where we think like ah~ a hero comes in to save the day but nope :) Tokai sensei dashes in the op room with an attitude. He urges the doctor to agree to his demands or the patient will die. It is said that the character is a 'devil' after all. Well apart from the 'devil' side, Tokai sensei is so much like Nino. lol

Like any other drama.. there's always a character that's a bit out of luck. That's where Ryoma's character steps in. Seira sensei is still lacks of being a doctor but has a big heart. It's just too pity seeing his character and its just the first ep. There's a doctor (probably like someone with higher position) trying to introduce a new tool for heart surgery that has never been in Japan before. So Seira sensei's patient became the first to undergo the surgery using it. Tokai sensei may seem like he wasn't interested but he got his hands on a report of the tool's background history. It did caused a death after the usage of it in the past and got the news around. The higher ups were against it after knowing what it cause but the surgery went on anyways. Long story short, things did go wrong because of it. From there, Seira sensei desperately begged Tokai sensei for help.

Sad as it is the higher ups are just full of themselves. They are interested in introducing new ways of treatment just to gain money and fame but claim it as for the country's sake. They hid any mistakes behind it. And one thing I don't get is why Tokai sensei is not given credit and left in the background? I think maybe its part of the story just gotta keep watching I guess :)
